Johnny is the founder – and now the Chief Executive – of one of the UK’s leading outreach organisations, supporting school-leavers, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to make choices about their futures, to understand how to achieve those goals and have the skills to do so. Push is an award-winning, non-profit organisation.
Engineering Professors’ Council
The EPC is the voice of UK engineering academics, one of the country’s largest discipline-focused representative bodies. Johnny has been the Chief Executive since 2016 leading policy campaigns and services to support the 8,000-strong membership.
Johnny is a highly accomplished public speaker and has presented many conference keynotes, hosted awards dinners, spoken in over 1,000 schools and appeared on television and radio over 400 times.
He often trains others in public speaking, working with individual and groups and helping everyone from nervous beginners through to accomplished executives. In particular he works with university outreach teams.
